With a background in mechanical and architectural drafting, I am able to work with you offering suggestions, but ultimately, it will be your vision that creates the final project.

Like almost every child I loved to create things and work with my hands when I was a young boy, but for me it was a love that grew stronger as I grew older. By the age of ten I was showing my first real interest in woodworking and I was lucky enough to have my grandfather to teach me the traditional ways of real wood construction. He demanded that I know and understand the traditional techniques of woodworking such as craftsman’s joints and glued construction, and instilled in me the knowledge and the passion of the craft. In my grandfather’s shop the rule was you had to master the coping saw before you could use a power tool, but once I did that there was no stopping me.

For thirty-five years woodworking has not only been a hobby, but it has remained a passion of mine. I continue to stand true with traditional woodworking techniques, but also bring with me an understanding of today’s modern designs. If you can envision it; I will work with you to make that vision a reality.
